LUBUMBASHI WILL NOW CONDUCT CORONAVIRUS TESTS AND WILL NO LONGER WAIT FOR KINSHASA
Congo's second largest city, Lubumbashi ,has now been equipped with a laboratory to conduct tests on suspected cases of coronavirus.
Before the city had to rely on tests results coming from the capital Kinshasa to confirm positive cases.

Last week the Prime Minister told the Senate that the country will decentralise the testing lab to six other Provinces i.e North and South Kivu, Haut-Katanga, Kongo Central, Kwilu and Ituri.
As of 2nd June 2020 , the Province of Haut-Katanga had 33 Covid19 confirm cases, while the entire country's case stood at 3326
