Congolese music legend Tshala Muana returned home on Friday 19 June 2020, after spending more than two weeks in a clinic in Kinshasa.
Elizabeth Tshala Muana Muidikay, the singer's full name, had suffered a hypertensive crisis before being admitted to the health facility, she's also known to be diabetic

Earlier on, rumours of her death had been circulating on social media, leading to well known celebrities paying her several visits at the clinic; among them were Seben Artist
Werrason Ngiama, Television Presenter Mamie Ilela and Culture Minister Jean-Marie Lukunji
The 62 year old Tshala Muana, affectionately known in her native Tshiluba language as mamou nationale (mother of the nation), rose to fame in the early 90's; after her seductive dance moves grabbed global attention and saw her touring countries around the world, mainly on the African continent.
